The terms on which we offer this website and accept donations. By using the site or donating, you agree to them.

1. About us
This website is operated by Humrahi Foundation, a registered NGO with its office at Parameshwar Niwas, Gudiya Jote, Matigara, Siliguri, Darjeeling district, West Bengal – 734010. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Humrahi Foundation.
2. Using this website
You may use this site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, or copy its content for commercial use without our written permission. All logos, text, photographs and the "Humrahi" name belong to Humrahi Foundation unless stated otherwise.
3. Donations
- Donations are voluntary and are used to further our charitable activities. We may direct funds to where the need is greatest unless you specify a programme.
- Donations are processed through a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card or bank credentials.
- Donations are eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Reg. No. AACTH8636FF20251). A receipt is issued for every donation; please provide your PAN to claim the exemption.
- Please donate only from accounts and cards you are authorised to use.
4. Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you donated in error (for example, a duplicate or incorrect amount), contact us at wecare@myhumrahi.org within a reasonable time and we will review your request in good faith.
5. Third-party links & content
This site links to external services such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and our Substack blog. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services.
6. Accuracy & availability
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete or error-free. We may change or suspend any part of the site at any time.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Humrahi Foundation is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Siliguri / Darjeeling, West Bengal.
