Still in school
Start now and the habits are yours before the pressure arrives. By the time you finish school you have a certificate alongside the marksheet, and you have already practised the interview everyone else meets cold.
Studying right now
Your syllabus teaches the subject. It does not teach how to present yourself, write an application that gets read, or handle a customer. Add those before campus placements, not during them.
Degree done, no calls back
The gap is almost never your marks. Close the readiness gap, earn a Skill Scorecard your CV can carry, and unlock the Job Connect portal once you complete the courses.
In a job you have outgrown
Professionalism, customer skills, workplace tools and problem solving are what move a person from employed to promoted. Learn them in the evenings, at your own pace.

This is the Skills Development Network curriculum, the same one delivered through colleges and ITIs across India. Humrahi is the local institute that hands it to you and stays until you finish.
12 free modules
Communication, self-management, professionalism, problem solving, customer skills, workplace digital tools, online safety, and an introduction to AI. Self-paced, start and stop when life demands it.
In your language
Bangla, English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada and Odia. Choose before you enrol. The language is locked once a course starts, so pick the one you think in.
Certificate + Skill Scorecard
A micro-certificate for every module you finish, a programme certificate at the end, and a Skill Scorecard that tells an employer what you can actually do. Yours permanently.
My Interview Coach
An AI coach that asks you real questions for the role you want, listens to your spoken answer, and tells you what to fix. Practise ten times before the interview that counts. Works in Bangla.

The honest FAQ.
Is it really free?
Yes, completely free, with no fees at any stage, ever. Humrahi is a registered non-profit and earns nothing from your enrolment. The courses come through the Skills Development Network, supported by the Wadhwani Foundation, a philanthropic organisation.
I'm still in school. Can I join?
Yes. The programme is open from Class 9 upward. If you are under 18, enrol with a parent or guardian's consent. Starting early is an advantage, not a problem.
Do I get a job at the end?
No one honest can promise you that. What you get is real skills, a verified certificate, a Skill Scorecard for your CV, and access to the Job Connect portal once you complete the courses. You walk into the interview readier, and the rest is yours to earn.
Can I study in Bangla?
Yes. Courses are available in Bangla, along with English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada and Odia. Choose your language before you enrol, because it cannot be changed afterwards.
What device do I need?
Any smartphone. The whole programme runs in your phone's browser, so you do not need a laptop or a computer centre.
Is there really an AI module?
Yes, module 12 is an introduction to artificial intelligence, and AI runs through the programme itself: an AI interview coach that asks you real questions for the role you want and gives feedback on your answers.
I want my own business, not a job. Is this still for me?
Yes. Alongside the twelve employability modules, the same free account opens a catalogue that includes Build Your Micro Business, written for college students, plus Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Start-up Mindset and Financial Literacy, and Digital Marketing tracks for kirana shops, artisans and farmer producer groups. What none of it gives you is capital, firm registration or GST filing. It covers the part that actually closes small shops: customers, records, negotiation and your own time. Humrahi does. Message us on WhatsApp and a volunteer from Siliguri helps you register, choose a course, or finish one, in your language.

Every course is free for the learner. The hard part is reaching a school-leaver in Siliguri who has never heard of it, then staying with them until they finish. That part needs people, and it needs money.

The students who need this most are not in Siliguri town. They are in tier-2 and tier-3 villages, in tea garden schools where nobody has heard of a free course. Carry it there: run a batch at your school, or give a few hours a week getting learners registered and through to the certificate. A person replies, in Bangla, Hindi or English.
